Fortnite Account Merging is OUT!?

fortnite account combine is coming. “In November, we’re going to release an ‘account merging’ system so you can Combine multiple console-linked accounts to transfer Battle Royale cosmetic item purchases, lifetime wins, V-Bucks, and Save the World campaign access,” Epic explains.

Starting May 6, Fortnite players will no longer be able to bring together two accounts from separate platforms. Any pending, eligible account merge requests submitted prior to May 6 will be completed, so interested players will need to act fast.

Merging Your Accounts allows you to retain your precious V-Bucks and cosmetics on one account. The feature was implemented when Cross play functionally was introduced to Fortnite. With so many players having different accounts across platforms, Epic released the feature to bring together everything a player owns.

Fortnite: Battle Royale added the ability for players on multiple systems to play together a while ago, but people are still having trouble getting crossplay to work.

It isn’t exactly spelled out to players, to be fair, but there’s a way to go about doing it. Using your standard PSN, Xbox Live, or Nintendo Online account isn’t enough. You’ll also need to have an Epic mini gamesassociated with your other accounts to get crossplay to work.
